Also, if you were wondering where the brilliant music track was coming from, i composed it using Soundtrack Pro loops and sound fx. I might stop shooting video and pursue. Who knows?

Red One w/ Cooke Speed Panchro Primes Test
This is a simple look test to see how some old circa 1975 Cooke Speed Panchros would perform when joined with the ultra-sharp 4K resolution of the Red One. The softening effect from the older glass is a natural aberration director Elliot Feld and I found to be especially pleasing to the eye, and also appropriate for the indie/real world short film we are shooting together. I'm posting this merely for reference.
Norman Motorsports - SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge 2010
Just finished editing this piece for Norman Motorsports. Camera operators Gavin White, Wes Waters & myself when out to Laughlin, NV for the first of the five race SCORE desert racing series. This is a very difficult, rough and fast course only 6 mi in length, having racers trudge through 8 arduous laps before limping to a finish.
Unfortunately the Norman Motorsports car, which was not their standard no. 8 Trophy Truck, had two DNF's for the two days of racing, but then again only 8 out of 28 trophy trucks finished, which lends to the harshness of the course. The course is great for shooting, located in the Mojave crossing where the Colorado river runs through, there is a consistent view of mountains about 270 degrees around the track, making for many beautiful frames.
We had an awesome time and are anxiously awaiting the next race; something about shooting video very close to 850HP trucks racing by that is just too much fun. Check out the video for yourself.
Panasonic HVX200 vs Canon 7D
This is a hasty test piece I put together to directly compare the HVX200 with the new Canon 7D with its 1080/24p video recording capabilities. Shot on the 7D with 75-300mm F4.0/5.6 USM & 17-40mm F4 L USM lenses. All HVX footage shot at 720/24pN , variable frame rates, all 7D footage is shot at 1080/24p. Edited w/ final cut pro with no color correction applied. Some shots have a ND 6 or 9 Grad in.
